Promoting Technology and Know-How Throughout Europe
"We attended the conference in 2019 as participants and were impressed by the quality of the discussions that were possible with well-known companies. The decision was quickly made that we ourselves would have to be there as an exhibitor this year," underlines Scott Garlick, Head of Prospection & Growth.
Sustainable and Affordable: Printed Tags
Victor Buck Services has been active in the paper and printing industry for 20 years. In the fall of 2019, the company launched an initiative to print electronics in order to produce smart antennas and inlays - even on standard paper. "The time for plastic-free tags is now," says Scott Garlick.
Victor Buck Services has developed production processes and methods to print up-scaled antennas and integrate ICs from well-known suppliers such as NXP or STMicroelectronics and others. It is also possible to equip them with additional sensors and active elements so that the resulting IoT tags can be integrated directly onto product packaging, for example in cold chain monitoring.
What Expectations Does Victor Buck Services Have as a New Exhibitor at #WIOTtomorrow20 DIGITAL?
"As an established company with a new technology initiative, we are looking forward to making our products, technologies and solutions better known at the conference and digital exhibition. Contact is crucial for establishing an eco-system with partners, integrators and converters," says Joachim Priem, Printed Electronics Business Development Manager.
