Asygn Ramps Up Marketing Activities in the US and in Asia!
Grenoble-based company Asygn plans to expand its presence in global markets. Frederic Maricourt, Sales Director at Asygn gives insights into company strategies and milestones for 2022. The focus for 2022 is to solidify the company’s footprint in the US and Asian markets.
From Europe to America, to Asia
Asygn is a company based in Grenoble, France, right in the middle of the French Alps. The company started its activities around Grenoble and slowly reached out across France and Europe. Now, a majority of Asygn’s customer base originate from Europe. With a prominent presence in Europe, Asygn now aims to expand its reach globally.
“In terms of strategy, a key point for us is to become more visible, and to deploy our activities outside of Europe. It is necessary for us to expand geographically. A few months ago, we opened an office in Atlanta, Georgia. This was an important milestone for us, since this is our first global market in terms of potential revenue,” says Frederic Maricourt, Sales Director at Asygn.
However, the global expansions do not stop here for Asygn. “What is true for the USA is also true for Asia. We are also planning to open offices or partner with representatives in Asia by the end of 2022 (latest by 2023), focusing first on Taiwan and South Korea. Asia is definitely a market that we need to be more visible in,” explains Frederic Maricourt.
Expanding the Partner Base
Besides the geographic expansion of Asygn’s marketing activities, the company is also looking to strengthen its partner base in 2022.
“In order to further develop our business models, it is crucial to have strong partnerships with tag manufacturers and more widely with RFID solution providers. End customers are today demanding complete solutions. For this reason, it is important for us to cooperate with tag manufacturers who can integrate our chips into their tags for the solution,” says Frederic Maricourt, and continues, “For example, we are working in close cooperation with our partners Xerafy and Tageos, who have already embedded our chip in some of their tags.”
