Predictive Maintenance with Battery-free Sensors

Predictive Maintenance

Lecturer: Sofia Benouakta, RFID Application Engineer at Asygn

Title: UHF RFID Sensor Devices for Predictive Maintenance

Content:

  • Sensor devices that can connect to any existing UHF RFID infrastructure
  • Low power and high-resolution measurement
  • Sensors embedded inside the IC, no need for extra devices
  • Batteryless sensors

Is the production line working properly? Is it at the correct operating temperature? And when should the next machine maintenance be scheduled?

Sofia Benouakta demonstrates how battery-free sensor technology with UHF RFID helps to optimize machine maintenance and availability and explains the application of the new UHF RFID chips. These have an analog sensor interface and internal sensors. Thanks to the sensors embedded in the IC, no additional devices are required for the acquisition of measured values.
