CAEN RFID to Create Innovative, Automated Tracking System for Dental Instruments!
CAEN RFID is among the companies selected to take part in the project "DIADEMA" (Dentistry 4.0: Innovative Applications for DEntal autoMAted practices) aimed at creating innovative automated systems, based on the enabling technologies of Industry 4.0, to meet the needs for increased safety, personalization, effectiveness and efficiency of the dental diagnostic and treatment process.

The project is funded under the POR FESR Toscana 2014-2020 program, Action 1.1.5 Sub. A1 Call No. 2 - MPMI research and development projects.
Specifically, CAEN RFID will work on developing an innovative automated tracking system for reusable hand-held dental instruments, based on the latest RFID technologies and innovative technological solutions.
The project is being carried out by a partnership of companies that stand out for their propensity for innovation and commercial exploitation of research and its results; in addition to CAEN RFID, the following are collaborating in the Diadema project: ASA DENTAL SpA (lead partner), a leader in the dental supply industry; TWS SRLU, a leader in the design and production of electronic devices for the B2B market; BONART SRL, a leader in the design and development of software for embedded devices, apps and cloud-based applications; and ARCHA SRL, a subcontractor - private research and analysis center.
