Casimir Kast Verpackung und Display GmbH, based in Gernsbach, Germany, has been using RFID since 2007. Founded in 1550, the family-owned company now employs 170 people and specializes in the production of high-quality offset-laminated packaging.
The company produces these for market leaders in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector, as well as for renowned brand manufacturers and their agencies from Germany and neighboring countries.
Every year, around 50,000 product pallets pass through the production process. In-house logistics and product shipment are automated via RFID applications.
