Ultra Thin Antennas Designed for Indoor and Outdoor Use!
The UHF RFID specialist FlexiRay has been manufacturing antennas since 2005. The company is headquartered in Buchlovice, Czech Republic. R&D include assembling is done 100 percent in the Czech Republic. In cooperation with partners, the antennas are mainly distributed in North America and Europe. The special feature: FlexiRay antennas are only 3mm thick. Thanks to slim and space-saving design, the antennas are suitable for special applications both indoors and outdoors.

Four Series of UHF RFID Antennas and RFID Portals Available
FlexiRay's product portfolio includes four product series: the SF2, SFR3 and SFR4 antennas, the SFX antenna with integrated reader, and an RFID portal. The SF series antennas are 3mm thick and suitable for indoor applications. The more robust SFR3 and SFR4 antenna series are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and are 14mm thick. All antennas are available in four lengths from 10 cm to one meter.
A new, ultra-thin UHF RFID antenna is to be launched on the market before the end of 2022. This and a UHF RFID reader are currently in prototype development. Due to material and supply bottlenecks, the market launch of the UHF RFID reader is planned for late 2022 or early 2023.
Antennas Conceived with Slim Design for Special Applications
FlexiRay's UHF RFID antennas are installed in smart shelves, vending machines and smart fridges, for example. Other areas of application include logistics and warehouse logistics, retail, healthcare, and asset tracking applications on cruise ships, in archives, in offices and in libraries.
"The FlexiRay antennas' ultra-thin design makes them ideal for applications where there is limited space. This includes use in smart devices and cabinets, as well as installation of the antennas in walls or door frames," explains Miroslav Jakšik, Managing Director at FlexiRay. "The appealing design enables use in applications where an 'industrial' look would be more of a hindrance." These include applications in retail or office spaces, for example."
