HID Acquisitions Expand RFID Solution Offerings
- InvoTech Systems, purchased end of 2021, is a leading provider of software management and control systems for uniforms and scrubs in large facilities such as resorts, hospitals and manufacturing companies.
- Invengo Textile Services, acquired in 2021, provides ACUITY™, an RFID- and Cloud-based linen management platform to help laundry professionals improve their linen inventory visibility and flows on site and at customer sites.
- TSL (Technology Solutions (UK) Ltd), also acquired in 2021, contributes handheld RFID readers that can be used with the Invengo and InvoTech products.
Textile Inventory Management with LinTRAK™ UHF Tags
LinTRAK UHF RFID tags enable high-volume tracking of bed linen, towels and garments. These tags can withstand exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals and pressure of intensive wash cycles without compromising on performance. These textile RFID tags are all discreet and unobtrusive to integrate and come in various sizes down to 10x30mm. They can be seamlessly affixed to textile items without affecting the integrity of the item.
Ergonomically designed mobile UHF RFID readers from TSL can read these tags and transmit the linen data to the software platform. This data is then analyzed and transformed into rich, interactive, cloud-based dashboards and reports. The result is a comprehensive, real-time overview of all linen stocks by article reference ID or individual items, per zones in the facility, at the laundry site or at the end customer site.
