New Applications with RFID and Sensor Technology
The Sense Passive Series tags and labels are designed for use in harsh environments. The reading ranges are optimized for use in industry as well as on metallic and non-metallic surfaces and reach up to nineteen meters, depending on the product.
The acquisition of sensor data is possible with RFID handhelds as well as with stationary readers. Temperature, moisture and fill level are captured by the sensors. These operate without batteries, using a small portion of the energy emitted by the RFID reader to make measurements. The sensor tags can be used at temperatures from -40 °C to 120 °C. For application, the label or tag is simply affixed to the respective measuring point.
The Sense Passive series demo kit includes a CSL handheld reader and 45 Sense Passive tags.
1. SENSE IQ 175
RFID sensor tag for temperature and humidity measurement with on-metal functionality in inventory management applications.
2. SENSE IQ 430
An on-metal RFID tag with integrated temperature and humidity sensor for inventory management of goods with metallic packaging in logistics.
3. SENSE FIT 500
A small, battery-free sensor tag with ceramic housing. Optimized for use on metal surfaces with a reading range of up to five meters.
4. SENSE IQ 550P
An RFID sensor tag optimized for use off-metal with temperature measurement functionality, and designed for RTI tagging.
5. SENSE IQ 200P
The Sense IQ 200P has a temperature and humidity sensor and is designed for use on plastic and non-metallic surfaces.
