Production machines and equipment are retrofitted with sensors. Measured values such as vibration and temperature are obtained. Based on the collected data, plant condition is monitored in real time. Machine learning is used to automatically detect as soon as the measured values deviate from normal values. An alarm calls maintenance personnel to action. Additionally, predictive maintenance is enabled.
