LEGIC Mobile – C9 RED

The RFID Handheld LEGIC Mobile – C9 RED from iDTRONIC is a mobile RFID reader for access management in the industrial environment. LEGIC Mobile – C9 RED supports the LEGIC RF standard and provides full read and write access for all LEGIC Prime and Advant transponders and tags. Due to the integrated SM4200 chip, the handheld computer is also able to read UIDs with MIFARE® chip type Classic, Mini, DESFireEV1, Plus S/X, Pro X, Smart MX & Ultralight.

The Mobile Industrial ID Solution for Industry 4.0 & Retail 2.0

The industrial handheld LEGIC Mobile – C9 RED offers optimal performance in access management within large production or retail companies. Employee or visitor badges with integrated LEGIC RF standard & MIFARE® chip are read reliably. The integrated LEGIC function also offers the option of writing individual UIDs on the chip. The high-performance Cortex A73 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor with 3 GB RAM/32 GB ROM storage (optional: 4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM) provides a long battery life of up to 8 hours. Our LEGIC Mobile – C9 RED is equipped with a desktop mode and can be operated on appropriate monitors, industrial PCs or industrial panels. The latest Android 10 „Q“ standard includes an optimized WLAN security standard WPA3 to comply with the latest data protection regulations.

The Robust Mobile ID Solution for Construction Site Management

The LEGIC Mobile – C9 RED is a rough ID solution for demanding processes within construction site management. Due to the IP65 housing, the LEGIC Mobile C9 - RED offers optimal protection against sand or water. It withstands extreme temperature fluctuations in the range from -20 °C to +50 °C without any problems. This enables the handheld computer to collect, extract and analyze valid data in extreme and remote environments. Thanks to the 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus lens + LED flash and the 5-megapixel front camera, the damage report can be quickly documented and captured. The integrated wireless communication capabilities: WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS transmit the acquired data to the system via high-speed data communication.

The Secure Mobile Access Control Solution for Events and Trade Fairs

The LEGIC Mobile – C9 RED is a valid RFID mobile reader for near-field communication within the scope of access control at events or trade fairs. The integrated LEGIC reader identifies valid transponders, tags, or paper RFID chips up to a maximum reading range of 5 cm. Each ticket can be assigned an individual user number using the LEGIC function. Misuse of counterfeit tickets or passports is immediately detected by the RFID reader and access is denied. Optionally, the LEGIC Mobile - C9 RED is also available with an integrated Honeywell barcode reader. This means that tickets with barcodes or QR codes can also be read easily and validly. All common symbologies are supported: PDF417, MicroPDF417, Composite, RSS, TLC-39, Datamatrix, QR code, Micro QR code, Aztec, MaxiCode, Postal Codes, US PostNet, US Planet, UK Postal, Australian Postal, Japan Postal, Dutch Postal. etc.

Including Configuration Tool and Demo Software App

The handheld LEGIC Mobile – C9 RED comes with a configuration tool for Android Studio & Eclipse systems. This supports the programming language: Javascript. The use of ConfigTool simplifies and facilitates the connection to your existing systems. Additionally iDTRONIC offers demo apps.
