RFID and RTLS Combined – Identify and Locate on September 7th
RFID transponders are integrated into the RTLS components. These are attached to the objects to be monitored and send signals to the system. Continuous localization of the objects is guaranteed. Three technologies are integrated and linked in the RLTS transponder from Kathrein Solutions: RFID, UWB and NFC.
NFC is used for near-field identification and smartphone communication. The benefit: The solution can be based on an existing RFID infrastructure. This means that previous investments and existing hardware can continue to be used. Michael Kaiser, Director Product Management & Innovations, Kathrein Solutions will be presenting numerous application examples on September 7th.

RFID-tagged containers provide real-time transparency and control in intralogistics. Thus, high availabilities are secured and further optimized. The load carrier and its contents are "married".
