The Four-Port RF Switch is an accessory unit to switch RF signals of up to four ports to a common port for testing of multi-port readers. The multiplexing is controlled from the GUI or API via the CISC RAIN Xplorer unit.
Being active in UHF RFID and NFC since its beginning it is great to see how the technology evolved and became mature. CISC is now offering product and services to support a very high maturity level of both RFID and NFC through measurement+test products, as well as with product development support services to allow even more growth for RFID+NFC.
DI Josef Preishuber-PflüglThe Four Port RF Switch multiplexes four antennas to the common port. It is used with a circulator. An example application is the TIPP testing. In this application, the CISC RAIN Xplorer is used as a monostatic four port tester to measure performance of tags at various angles.
The Four Port RF Switch can be used in performance testing of reader with up to four ports. It multiplex signals from reader ports into the common port which is connected to the CISC RF Sensor Module and optionally other accessories, such as the CISC Phase Shifter and CISC Impedance Emulator.
CISC is an international oriented and highly awarded company that provides competitive and innovative products and technology for design and verification of heterogeneous networked embedded microelectronic systems.
