ARU 2400 UHF RFID Reader

The ARU 2400 reader is a basic RAIN RFID reader with an integrated antenna for indoor applications in logistics, manufacturing and supply chain applications. Based on the latest RFID standards, such as EPC Gen2v2/ISO 18000-63, ARU 2400 support all market leading transponder chip features.

The ARU 2400 controls up to 24 decentralized Smart-Shelf antennas centrally via the ©KRAI interface. This unique antenna bus system is distributed over the existing antenna line and controls the antennas in a daisy-chain arrangement. The antennas with FAKRA connectors have an RF input and output. For example, each individual reading point selectively detects packages and reports them back with information on the reading position. The usual 7 readers are replaced by one ARU2400, thus reducing the hardware costs by approx. 66%!
