The Kathrein ARU 3000 and RRU 4000 RAIN RFID readers are the gateways for IoT applications. These readers are used when AutoID networks and communication networks intersect. On the one hand, the readers offer high-performance 33 dBm UHF RF units, on the other hand, a big variety of interfaces for communications networks.

Regardless of whether cables are used for PoE+ and Ethernet networks or wireless options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or mobile communication networks, Kathrein always offers the best fitting solution.

To handle this powerful feature, the readers have a built-in Linux computer with up to 8 GB memory. The customers have the full access to run their own applications or use the most powerful IoT software suite CrossTalk from Kathrein.
