Key Facts

The ECO RFID Retail Collection by Stora Enso is specifically designed with retailers needs in mind, especially relating to commonly used RFID tag standards (ARC categories in the US and the EECC study in Europe). The ECO RFID Retail Collection is made with Stora Enso’s patented ECO RFID Tag technology that allows printing of an RFID label to a renewable paper, without plastic layers and harmful chemicals.

This makes the collection a sustainable choice for companies that care about their ecological footprint. According to LCA studies, ECO RFID tags can provide 30-40% decrease in carbon footprint.

The ECO RFID tags are competitive with traditional inlay options in both performance and cost. The tags are delivered in a roll on a label format.

The ECO RFID Retail Collection consists of five RFID tags that include the most common tag sizes used in retail hangtags and price stickers, and they come to market with the latest NXP UCODE8 chip.
