AIM, the AutoID Association, will be exhibiting at #WIOTtomorrow21 from 20-21.10.2021 in Wiesbaden!
News from AutoID World, the Technology Working Groups, Networking and More!
AIM will be live with its own booth at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021 as a point of contact for AutoID industry stakeholders. The association will provide information and advice on market developments, technology trends, new collaborations and current activities - such as political work within the EU on frequency band harmonizations.
AutoID and Mobile IoT Technologies in greater demand than ever before
"As an association, we firmly believe that AutoID technologies – and WIOT technologies in particular – are in ever-increasing demand and will become even more of a focus for numerous industries as a result of the Corona pandemic. Tracking & tracing, IoT & IIoT, and physical distancing as an element of comprehensive real-time locating are selected focus topics – and solutions for these are based entirely on AutoID technologies. The trend towards automation will continue unabated and (collaborative) robotics in numerous processes will become more and more established," says AIM-D Managing Director, Peter Altes, referring to some of the top issues being addressed within the association.
News from AIDC Markets and AIM Working Groups
At the event, AIM will contribute with a key lecture on "Market & Business Development – Obstacles for the Adoption of Wireless IoT Technologies" and report on news from the numerous working groups, such as the WG IT Security for AutoID Technologies or the WG Sensor Technology. Experts from member companies drive the development of technologies, solutions and standardization implementations in the working groups.
RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021 Highlights Germany as an Event Location!
For the association and its members – companies from all areas of AutoID technologies – events and conferences are an important element for making contacts, presenting news, networking and initiating business. The countless canceled events in the past 1.5 years have had a severe impact on the industry.
"This makes the signal effect emanating from the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021 live event all the more important," says Peter Altes.
"The association – and I personally – think it is great and exemplary that the organizing team will get the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021 off the ground in a Corona-compliant manner in these challenging times. This is certainly an important signal not only for the AutoID industry. The realization of the event is a great contribution to the strengthening of Germany as an event location."
