Who we are

We manufacture and develop identification products and systems, particularly in the field of passive HF and UHF RFID.

Being an independent medium sized enterprise, we have been providing products and service to various international enterprises for several years. Thereby, we count on practical and occasionally unconventional solutions; always in close cooperation with our customers and partners.

We supply to industrial customers such as automotive and pharmaceutical industry, food logistics and production, art objects as well as sports events. Our clients in the textile sector include manufacturers, hospitals, laundries and penitentiaries. However, there are fields of application in which nobody would expect us. Market leaders in numerous fields value us as an innovative and accomplished supplier.

What we do

We design and manufacture custom RFID labels and tags (passive HF, UHF and Dual Frequency) as well as readers and antennas (passive HF, UHF and Dual Frequency). Custom hardware and software interfaces complete our product portfolio. Based on this knowledge, we are also able to plan and implement complete RFID hardware systems.

Most of our products are custom solutions; designed and developed in close interaction with our customers so they get the best product for their needs. During the design and development process, we focus on four key areas: the object to be tagged, the environment, the application and, last but not least, specific customer requirements.

Products and system component specifications will be verified in our in-house development center which includes a wide range of testing and measuring equipment. After implementation, we make sure that we consistently maintain the level of quality our customers demand.

GERA-IDENT Develops RFID Hardware for Radiotherapy Manufacturer

Project for development of customized RFID hardware in medical technology completed successfully Additionally to the production of industrial RFID labels, GERA-IDENT GmbH has intensified its focus in the last few years on the development of customized RFID hardware. This means that a product is developed and manufactured, from its conception and prototypes all the way to its serial production, in close cooperation with the customer. Another project has now been successfully completed and carried forward into serial production. Together with a developer and a manufacturer of radiotherapy systems, an RFID system has been developed for the detection of probes on X-ray machines. The aim is to ensure that the correct lens barrel is being attached to the device, depending on the medical requirements.

GERA-IDENT expands manufacturing capability

Acquisition of new manufacturing equipment for RFID-Smart Labels GERA-IDENT has increased production capabilities for RFID-Smart Labels, Tickets and Tags with new manufacturing equipment. This highly complex machinery was custom designed and built based on GERA-IDENT‘s long-term experience as well as in consideration of strategic customer requirements.
