Highlight of #wiottomorrow21: Turck's UHF RFID Gate
The highlight at Turck's exhibition booth will be a fully functional UHF RFID gate equipped with the brand new external UHF antennas and the Q180 UHF reader. These gate applications are increasingly used in logistics to detect incoming and outgoing goods just before trucks are loaded or unloaded. Even when the truck passes through quickly, the data carriers are reliably detected regardless of the position and distance of the tags to the UHF antennas. The exhibit clearly demonstrates how smoothly the bulk detection of several data carriers in a door search and the subsequent further processing of the data in the Turck Vilant Engine works.
Two Lectures from Turck and Turck Vilant Systems in the Conference Program
Experts from Turck and Turck Vilant Systems will also be giving two lectures in the conference: On October 20th, the lecture "RFID Tracks Materials, Inventory and Production Process in a Car Factory" by Robert Paulus, Business Development Manager, Turck Vilant Systems will start at 11:40 CEST. The focus will be on replacing barcodes with RFID as well as the automatic registration of components and tracking of Returnable Transport Items (RTIs) in a car factory.
On October 21st at 12:20 CEST, the presentation "Extending the Use of RFID in Warehouses: How to Mix-and-Match RFID Gates and Forklifts" will be given by Hendrik Schnabel, Product Management UHF, Turck, discussing the benefits of RFID gates and forklifts in intralogistics and goods tracking.
