AutoID Technologies in Higher Demand than Ever
"As an association, we firmly believe that AutoID technologies – and WIOT technologies in particular – will continue to be in demand and will increasingly come into the focus of numerous user industries as a result of the corona pandemic. Tracking & Tracing or Physical Distancing are major focus topics – and solutions for them are based entirely on AutoID technologies.
The trend towards automation will intensify, and robotics will become even more firmly established in numerous processes," says AIM-D Managing Director Peter Altes with regard to the top issues that are being addressed within the association.
News from the Research Groups
At the digital conference, the AIM Association will report news from the numerous research groups, such as the IT Security Research Group for AutoID Technologies or the Sensor Technology Research Group. Experts from the member companies will drive the development of technologies, solutions and standardization implementations in the working groups.
For the association and its members - companies from all areas of AutoID technologies – trade fairs and conferences are an important element for establishing contacts, presenting news, maintaining networks and initiating business. The countless canceled events in recent months have had a severe impact on the industry.
