10 million vehicles have been tagged with tamper- and counterfeit-proof RAIN RFID windshield labels in Egypt by the end of 2020. The Kathrein Solutions RRU 4500 RAIN RFID readers, together with WRA3070, a 30° wide-range antenna, provide permanently secure, lane-selective vehicle identification. Construction Industry

A long-lasting UHF/HF module is integrated into the construction framework, making it possible to collect module-specific data contactlessly during production on construction sites worldwide. The dual UHF/HF passive RFID chip is able to couple with the metal formwork and use it as an antenna.

Supply Chain

RFID-tagged load carriers enable item localization and identification along the entire supply and marketing chain. The load carriers are equipped with RFID tags and unique identification numbers. Incoming and outgoing goods, storage and retrieval are automatically documented.

Train Tracking and Monitoring

All security checkpoints are traceable and uniquely identifiable, each railcar body can be identified. Information about whether rail car axles are too hot or overloaded, or data about railcar wheelsets, can be obtained using passive UHF-RFID tags.
