Kirschenhofer Maschinen developed a system for production control and quality assurance for Britax Römer using Turck's RFID tags and TBEN-S Ethernet multiprotocol modules in conjunction with Labview – entirely without PLCs. Success Story: Transport and Logistics
A Chinese energy and chemical company uses an RFID system from Turck for efficient, transparent flows of goods. With the data on incoming and outgoing goods, the ERP system continuously synchronizes warehouse inventory. All goods movements are tracked. Rewritable data carriers enable multiple use of the transport pallets.
Proof of Concept: Merck
With the Shipment Verification Station, Turck Vilant Systems proves in a proof of concept for Merck that even containers with liquids and metal objects can be reliably and quickly detected in UHF RFID pulse reading processes. Even with the most difficult substance, ethanol, the pulse reading processes are compelling with reading times of up to 30 seconds. Metallic containers also pose no problem when using the appropriate on-metal tags.
