Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), an innovator at the edge of the enterprise with solutions and partners that enable businesses to gain a performance edge, announced that MPREIS Warenvertriebs GmbH, an Austrian retailer, is transitioning its in-store fulfillment management system to Zebra’s Android mobility solution, improving its workflows and building smarter and more efficient operations.
- MPREIS has migrated its in-store fulfillment operations to a Zebra Android mobility solution to streamline workflows and improve staff efficiency using the TC56 and TC57 touch computers.
- LifeGuard and OneCare help MPREIS maintain security and support over the full lifecycle of its Zebra solution, while the Mobility DNA suite and StageNow software tools give more functionality and flexibility for in-store application development.

MPREIS wanted to migrate from Windows to Android mobile computers and implement an efficient warehouse-to-store fulfillment management system. The company deployed a full solution including TC56 and TC57 touch computers and LifeGuard™ for Android for extended security to provide longer lifecycle benefits.
Using Mobility DNA for enterprise application needs and the StageNow Android tool for software development and integration on Zebra devices, MPREIS can easily integrate apps developed by Modellwerkstatt. Reducing business interruptions, Zebra OneCare® services provide operational continuity.

Staff in MPREIS’ 238 stores are equipped with Zebra touch computers to access the company’s electronic shelf label (ESL) application. Used for receiving, checking item availability and managing weekly inventory controls, the TC57 touch computers give an accurate inventory overview to manage MPREIS’ out-of-stocks. This provides greater worker productivity and optimizes in-store workflow operations.
