The current economic situation creates new challenges for the manufacturing industry and for logistics. Due to supply bottlenecks, materials are often not available or have long delivery times. A complete inventory overview and the prevention of shrinkage are required. Human errors are to be eliminated.
Daniel Dombach explains the changes companies are driving to overcome these challenges. Thanks to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and sensing solutions, the allocation of orders within a warehouse is carried out smoothly. Each delivery is correctly identified, picked and tracked in real time.
