Highly robust labels, Bluetooth readers, dual technology – AXEM Technology presents the latest RFID developments of the past 12 months!
A few years ago, AXEM Technology opened the AXEM Lab at its headquarters near Paris – an R&D lab where engineers can continuously research hardware, build prototypes and test them with different methods.
AXEM Technology presents three product highlights at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow DIGITAL this year.
Transformation to Hardware Developer Completed
With the launch of the development lab, AXEM Technology has completed the transformation from a distributor to an RFID hardware manufacturer for demanding industrial markets from Laundry to Defense. The establishment of the laboratory has accordingly increased the development output noticeably, allowing AXEM Technology to present three product highlights at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow this year.
1. A Flexible Label with the Robustness of a Hard Tag
With Protect + for UHF and HF/NFC labels of the AX'Label series, AXEM Technology extends the application range of "classic" labels for use even under harsh conditions. A flexible protective film in combination with an ultra-reinforced adhesive produces extremely robust labels that are technologically resistant to mechanical stress, UV radiation or high-pressure cleaners.
2. A Dual Technology Tag
For the first time in the company's history, AXEM Technology, with the support of its in-house development laboratory, has brought tags to market maturity that combine both HF RFID and UHF RFID functionalities in one transponder, the AX’Tag Explorer L dual.
3. A Bluetooth RFID Reader for All Smartphones
With the MagSled, UHF RFID is within the reach of any smartphone thanks to a Bluetooth connection. Thanks to the MagSled's easy magnet fixing capabilities, users can connect and disconnect their smartphones instantly, depending on its use.
