To support better land management and business practices that benefit people, nature and the climate Cisper has engaged in a FSC certification for the distribution of (FSC certified) paper tags!
At this moment we distribute a (FSC) certified paper tag of Tageos which enables our client to maintain the certification within the chain from the supplier of the trees throughout the end product in the shops. In this particular case the tags are used to label cloths.
FSC stands for: Forest Stewardship Council and is an international organization dedicated to conservation and responsible forest management worldwide. FSC speaks of responsible forest management when ecological, social and economic aspects associated with forest management are taken into account in a balanced way.
FSC also has criteria that focus on social aspects. For the preservation of tropical forests, this is of great importance. After all, in tropical areas it is often the poorest populations that depend on the forest. FSC ensures that forest workers receive adequate wages and can work under responsible conditions.
What Does FSC-COC Certification Mean?
FSC-CoC certification means that all companies in the supply chain, from the sawmill to the manufacturer of finished products, are able to keep the flow of FSC-certified wood products separate from other wood products, both administratively and physically, and that a certifier has determined that these companies comply with all applicable regulations.
