OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture) is the interoperability standard for data exchange in the industrial automation space. With UAFX (Field eXchange) extensions interoperability is achieved on the field level.

Peter Lutz will explain the benefits of OPC UA for the field level and present the reference implementation of “OPC UA Safety over 5G”. The result: Secure industrial communication and automation without vendor lock-in.
