Pepperl+Fuchs Certified as a Silver Partner in the Android Enterprise Partner Program

Pepperl+Fuchs, too, has been working closely with Android and Google for many years, so it was a logical step to guarantee its customers the highest level of service and to get certified for an Android Enterprise Silver Partnership.

Partnership with Google
The Android Enterprise Partner Program initiated by Google is aimed specifically at companies that develop, implement or offer Android Enterprise products, services or solutions. Validated partners receive access to resources, tools, and support from Google to better integrate Android devices in companies. The program includes various certifications and categories depending on the specialization and range of solutions offered by the respective partner and places higher demands on the manufacturer's product and services with regard to industrial use.
Three Pillars of Certification
The certification for the Android Enterprise Partner Program comprises three pillars: the company’s employees, the company itself, and its products. The training program for sales and consultants covers the entire range of Android topics, including mobile device management and security.
For product certification, Google verifies the hardware and software of mobile devices on the basis of certain requirements and parameters, such as suitability for use in industrial environments, security updates within certain timeframes, and obligations for companies.
The intrinsically safe Smart-Ex® 03 from Pepperl+Fuchs has already received the Android Enterprise Recommended certification.
