The UR40 is the ideal RFID reader for applications in demanding and outdoor locations, as it is sealed to IP65 standards. Its die-cast aluminium case allows for better heat dissipation, thus resulting in a reliable and continuous operation even at high temperatures.
With up to 700 read RFID tags per second it accomplishes an outstanding scanning performance. The integrated antenna can switch between linear and circular polarization via software, which allows long reading distance and better RF isolation of neighbouring readers. Up to three extra antennas can be added to the UR40 RFID reader, allowing different portal configurations to be made.
