AEG ID has been manufacturing transponders and readers at its main site in Ulm, Germany, since 1989. The second site was opened in Vrchlabi in the Czech Republic in 1998. This constellation puts AEG ID in a position to cushion supply bottlenecks at all times. During the pandemic, all orders for transponders and readers were fulfilled on time. ‚Made in EU‘ stands first and foremost for high-quality products and a reliable supply chain. This performance is based on the current automation strategy in production.
Production From Chip to Finished Product
The site in Vrchlabi mainly manufactures transponders. The product spectrum is extensive. It ranges from glass transponders for use in animal identification to pigeon rings and disk transponders for industrial applications and smartcards.
Small to Large Series Production
AEG ID develops customized products for customers according to their individual ideas and technical requirements. From small batches to large orders, AEG ID can handle any production volume. Thanks to automated manufacturing, the production processes are efficient and uncomplicated.
