UHF Compact Reader with integrated antenna and signal light

The Compact Reader is ideal for vehicle identification and parking access control applications in airports, universities, gated communities and others.

This small vehicle access control reader is installed next to the barrier, gate or bollard, allowing vehicles to conveniently enter the parking area without the need of stopping at the entry.

The reader is also available as stand alone version ID MAX.U500i with integrated Access Controller.

Startup Develops First RFID Pooling System for Cosmetics

One Startup Against the Surge of Plastic According to the WWF, people create 200 million tons of plastic waste every year. “Without me!” is the response of startup founder Steffanie Rainer, who is fighting plastic waste with a sustainable pooling system for cosmetics bottles. With HF RFID-tagged bottles, a self-developed refill station with an RFID reader from FEIG Electronic and IT services and an overall concept from avus Services, a plastic-free product lifecycle is created. At present, the system is used in five supermarkets in southern Germany.

One Card for All at Residential Complex Town Square in Dubai

RFID-based Security Solution for Smart, Gated, High-End Community The Town Square in Dubai is a gated community residential complex covering an area of around 11 football pitches in Dubai with various apartment complexes and extensive leisure facilities – from a skate park to the facility's own roller coaster. Among these facilities are community gardens, playgrounds, shops, cafés, and restaurants. Around 400 residents live on this luxury residential complex. The 'One Card For All' project was initiated together with the property developer Nshama. It currently comprises the following areas: Physical and vehicle access control at a total of 14 entrances and exits to the complex, as well as access control to the leisure facilities, and payment at the attractions.

Narrow-mesh antenna installation enables 100 percent detection Al-Ahli Hospital in the heart of Doha, the capital of Qatar, has 250 beds and 25 departments from anaesthesiology to neurosurgery. With the goal of greater transparency in the employee time attendance system, the clinic executive decided to implement a UHF RFID-based solution. Following the successful implementation, the project has been expanded in several steps: now and in the future Al-Ahli Hospital relies on UHF RFID, from employees' vehicles through their participation in training measures to hospital assets.
