Microsensys Presents Wireless Sensors for IoT at #wiottomorrow21

Passive Sensor Technology, Mobile Readers and Bluetooth Low Energy Products for Smart IoT Applications will be presented at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021!

Microsensys will be presenting new products for wireless sensor technology from the TELID® product range as well as mobility products such as iID®PENsolid and iID®wearable at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021. The focus is on identification, data streams and the connection of objects with their identities and conditions. The focus in the exhibition is based on three pillars: Mobile readers, Bluetooth Low Energy products and passive sensor technology.

Microsensys is also present on at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021 VIRTUAL running parallel to the live event, and will take part in the live conference with the lecture "Wireless Low Power Sensors in Smart IoT Applications".

A Complete Range of Mobile Readers

Microsensys' product range of mobile RFID devices has been expanded with the "iID®wearable". The UHF device is particularly suitable for material handling in logistics processes. iID®wearable has the form of a smart watch, is easy to use and can be worn comfortably on the wrist or clip.

The device has an integrated battery and weighs 40 grams. The communication range of the device is adjustable to the application (Range: From a few cm to 150 cm). The product was launched in 2019. After comprehensive updates in 2020 and 2021, the new version of the "iID®wearable" will be presented at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021.

TELID: RFID Sensor Transponder and Data Logger

"Microsensys offers passive RFID sensor transponders and semi-passive RFID sensor data loggers in the HF and UHF frequency ranges and for various applications. At the exhibition, we will present the extension of the TELID® product portfolio with BLE sensors based on the level measurement of a water column," explains Sylvo Jäger, Chief of Development, Microsensys.

The combination of contactless RFID technology and low power sensors allows a wide range of sensor applications for telemetric measurement of temperature, pressure, humidity and other measured variables to be realized in practice.

Passive Sensor Technology

Also to be seen live on-site: An intelligent sensor, which measures the oscillation of a moving object at the exhibition in Wiesbaden and that can perform analysis directly at the object. Since the sensor transponders remain at the measured object, a clear identification of the measuring point is simultaneously provided. Further temperature and humidity sensors will also be presented at the booth.

The advantages of the products compared to conventional wired technology or active, battery-supported loggers and radio transmitters are mainly the low mass and the small size of the actual measuring device, as well as the independence from the state of charge of a battery or accumulator. TELID®200 products are ideally suited for use in predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.

Lecture: "Wireless Low Power Sensors in Smart IoT Applications"

Norman Krämer, Application Engineer, Microsensys, will share his expertise on wireless sensor classification and hardware implementation in IoT solutions, as well as the use of mobile readers and the application fields of sensor solutions.

The lecture "Wireless Low Power Sensors in Smart IoT Applications" with Norman Krämer starts on October 20th at 15:50 CEST.
