The LEGIC Identsystems End-to-End Security Portfolio
The products and services from the LEGIC Identsystems portfolio are based on credential and key management, trusted services and secure, contactless semiconductors. Together, these services and components comprise the “LEGIC Security Platform” which provides system integrators and end-customers with end-to-end security for their smartphone and smartcard-based access control, mobility, shared resource and industrial IoT applications.
The LEGIC portfolio covers security management tools, security modules, smartcard ICs, development tools, mobile credentialing and consulting services.
“Our end-to-end Security Platform is the core of our innovation: it consists of cloud software-as-a-service working seamlessly with a mobile SDK (for Android and iOS) and LEGIC Security Modules which are embedded in building infrastructure, industrial machines and vehicles,” says Carl Fenger, Technical Communications Manager at LEGIC Identsystems. LEGIC’s smartcard ICs and mobile apps allow customers to deploy secure contactless applications used for access control, building management, logistics, industrial equipment and shared vehicles. LEGIC’s newest software platform, LEGIC Connect Go, is the company’s first mobile „Credentials as a Service” offering which enables customers to deploy 24/7 applications without the need for their own, always-on backend.

The experts at LEGIC see an increased demand for applications that capitalize on contactless authentication technology to protect employees and users by eliminating the need for physical contact with infrastructure (door handles, buttons, printers, machines etc.) as well as by limiting access to and interactions with valuable infrastructure to authorized persons only. The LEGIC experts also see an increasing trend towards smartphone-based applications which require 24/7 online and offline user authentication such as shared vehicles, public services, industrial machines and building infrastructure - this is the main feature provided by our security platform. Integration with popular mobile wallets is also a growing market demand we are serving.
