Reconstruction measures for energy-efficient utilisation of heat in production successfully completed
GERA-IDENT successfully concluded reconstruction measures to improve heat utilization in production, thus increasing energy efficiency. The implementation of this heating concept is part of various measures that seek to improve sustainability within the company.
12th RFID-Symposium of the RFID network in Silicon Saxony e.V. from 6th to the 7th of December 2018
Just like it did in the previous year, GERA-IDENT will once again be exhibiting at this year's RFID-Symposium on 06.-07.12.2018 in Dresden.
Dresden RFID-Symposium is organized by the members of the RFID network in Silicon Saxony e.V. and takes place annually, meanwhile for the 12th time. It provides a platform for an active exchange between research and economy, as well as between suppliers and users.
This year’s focus will mainly be on the technology’s safety requirements as well as the applications in the manufacturing industry.
Project for development of customized RFID hardware in medical technology completed successfully
Additionally to the production of industrial RFID labels, GERA-IDENT GmbH has intensified its focus in the last few years on the development of customized RFID hardware. This means that a product is developed and manufactured, from its conception and prototypes all the way to its serial production, in close cooperation with the customer.
Another project has now been successfully completed and carried forward into serial production. Together with a developer and a manufacturer of radiotherapy systems, an RFID system has been developed for the detection of probes on X-ray machines.
The aim is to ensure that the correct lens barrel is being attached to the device, depending on the medical requirements.
Acquisition of new manufacturing equipment for RFID-Smart Labels
GERA-IDENT has increased production capabilities for RFID-Smart Labels, Tickets and Tags with new manufacturing equipment.
This highly complex machinery was custom designed and built based on GERA-IDENT‘s long-term experience as well as in consideration of strategic customer requirements.
