Experts for RFID smart packaging solutions will present a groundbreaking $0.03 tag and announce further "price downsizing”
Talkin' Things has put a new tag production facility into operation in Warsaw (Warszawa)/Poland in 2020. Using state-of-the-art bonding and converting lines, the company is already able to produce UHF RFID and NFC tags at a sales price of 0.03 US dollars.
The fact that the production is located in the middle of Europe offers customers the advantage of shorter transport routes, lower logistics costs and the ability to realize short-term deliveries with the highest possible delivery reliability.

Talkin' Things Continues to Fuel the Price Spiral
The company's market focus is on the pharmaceutical and FMCG industries. The lower the tag price, the more willing industry stakeholders are to invest in RFID smart packaging solutions. "The 3-cent tags are only the first step to make tagging at unit level economically interesting. By 2025, it is our definite goal to present a 1-cent tag for the tagging of individual products," emphasizes Marcin Pilarz CEO at Talkin'Things.
