Zebra Unveils New Solutions and Modern Warehouse Approach at LogiMAT

Powerful Devices and Fixed Industrial Scanning Solutions are Moving Front-line Workers and the Industry Forward

Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a leading digital solution provider enabling businesses to intelligently connect data, assets, and people, today announced that it will unveil a range of new products for the first time in Europe at LogiMAT, alongside new fixed industrial scanning solutions designed to support front-line workers in the warehouse, transportation and logistics industries.

“We're applying our expertise to help warehouse operators manage impacted supply chains - from ongoing labour hiring challenges to continued e-commerce demands and disruptions in the Panama Canal and the Red Sea,” said Andre Luecht, Global Transportation and Logistics Strategy Lead, Zebra Technologies. “LogiMAT attendees are looking for ways to overcome their challenges, and Zebra is ready to deliver secure, innovative, and reliable solutions for logistics and distribution available through our leading ecosystem of partners.”

At LogiMAT, Luecht will deliver a presentation to attendees on “Making The Modern Warehousing A Reality,” which will look at how supply chain resilience and agility, order execution, automation, worker augmentation, and labour planning impact current and future warehousing priorities.

Luecht will be joined by Donato Montanari, General Manager and Vice President, Machine Vision, Zebra Technologies, who will be demonstrating Zebra’s fixed industrial scanning (FIS) solutions, including the pack bench, dock door scan portal, scan tunnel, and forklift scanning.

Across Europe, companies like The Noerpel Group, a third-party logistics solutions provider, use Zebra’s FIS solutions to accelerate its deliveries, doubling productivity. And CEWE, a photographic processing manufacturer, has automated its production workflows with a Zebra FIS solution and Aurora™ software, reading up to 22,000 barcode scans hourly and delivering around 60,000 customer orders daily.

Underpinning Zebra’s efforts to make the modern warehouse a reality are new, purpose-built solutions that will be unveiled at LogiMat, including the:

  • TC53e and TC58e mobile computers which can run up to Android™ 17 and are compatible with Wi-Fi 6E and the new 5G 3GPP Release 16 specifications that expand the reach of 5G to new services, spectrum, and deployments. These devices come with Qualcomm’s octa-core processor, delivering a huge increase in processing power with additional memory and storage for future applications.
  • TC53e-RFID in the same form factor as the TC53e, features an integrated short-range ultra high frequency radio frequency identification (UHF RFID) reader for inventory tracking in indoor warehousing and logistics settings and can be used with Zebra RFID sleds.
  • MC9400 Series ultra-rugged mobile computer has public and private 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and Bluetooth 5.3 for increased energy efficiency and improved battery life. Designed for a range of warehousing tasks, its Bluetooth Low Energy battery and Zebra Device Tracker can increase work uptime by minimising the time and cost of lost devices.
  • WS50 powered by Zebra Workcloud and featuring an AI voice assistant, is the industry's first fully featured wrist and clip wearable enterprise-class Android touch computer.
  • WT6400 wearable computer designed for industrial workplaces features rugged connectors, protective bezel, a 13MP rear camera, and can withstand freezer environments down to -30 degrees Celsius. The WT5400 purpose-built wearable for retail environments is designed to streamline all-day hands-free work, making order picking, inventory handling and restocking more efficient.
  • RS2100 ring scanner, the industry’s smallest back-of-hand scanner for quick deployment and enhanced productivity, enables workers to complete tasks hands-free.

“Warehousing and logistics companies such as Hasenauer+Koch GmbH, Deutsche Post DHL Group, Casar, Waterman Onions, and Raja are transforming their operations with Zebra and partners, and I’d encourage attendees to meet us so we can work together to make modern warehousing a reality for them too,” said Luecht.
