The BL ident complete RFID system from Turck provides a robust identification solution for use in the production and process automation industries, including everything from production control to distribution and logistics to the whole supply chain management. The RFID system can be implemented effortlessly into nearly every existing automation infrastructure without any programming.

Thanks to protection class IP67 it can also be implemented directly in the machine or system on site. Without the need for control boxes or long signal paths Turck customers save a lot of wiring and installation time.

Since 2017, Turck offers its customers inhouse RFID turnkey solutions. With Turck Vilant Systems the company is able to offer complete system solutions including software, integration and maintenance services. Dirk Wunder Takes Over Corporate Marketing at Turck

Dirk Wunder is responsible for Corporate Marketing at the Turck automation specialists since September 1, 2019. The industry expert takes over the position of managing director Christian Wolf, who has so far covered this area in addition to his other duties. The new marketing manager comes with many years of experience in positions of responsibility. He started his professional career as head of marketing at Moeller and then in a similar position at Sick. In the past five years Wunder has been marketing director at Schneider Electric for the DACH region, where he could particularly apply his know-how in the area of internationalization and digitalization.

Turck Group Preparing for the Future

Optimized corporate structure to ensure worldwide growth Shareholders, advisory board and management board of the Turck Holding aim to strengthen the international growth of the Turck group for the long term and make the company fit for the requirements of the future. Activities will center around the extensive differentiation within the group into the automation technology business and the development and production services. By centralizing technology focuses at particular sites, Turck aims to considerably expand development and production capacity internationally.

Olaf Ophoff Takes Over the Automation Systems Business Unit

Oliver Merget, the former Vice President of the business unit, will leave Turck at the end of March Olaf Ophoff (53) will become the new Vice President of the Automation Systems business unit at Turck. The former VP, Oliver Merget, is leaving Turck at the end of March after almost eight years. He is leaving at his own request in order to take up new responsibilities. Turck is ensuring a seamless transition with the new replacement for the position. Olaf Ophoff joined Turck just over one and a half years ago and has been in charge of product management for factory automation systems since then.

Turck Presents UHF Handheld With Smartphone Connection

Turck expands its RFID portfolio with the PD20 UHF handheld offering a smartphone connection The PD20 expands Turck's RFID product portfolio with a UHF handheld for connecting to a smartphone. Users can control the PD20 via the free Turck app, which is installed on their Android or iOS smartphone or tablet. Depending on the RFID tag to be read and the environment, the device has a read range of two meters and more.
