Turck's RFID System BL ident

The BL ident complete RFID system from Turck provides a robust identification solution for use in the production and process automation industries, including everything from production control to distribution and logistics to the whole supply chain management. The RFID system can be implemented effortlessly into nearly every existing automation infrastructure without any programming.

Thanks to protection class IP67 it can also be implemented directly in the machine or system on site. Without the need for control boxes or long signal paths Turck customers save a lot of wiring and installation time.

Since 2017, Turck offers its customers inhouse RFID turnkey solutions. With Turck Vilant Systems the company is able to offer complete system solutions including software, integration and maintenance services. More than 1,000 RFID system installations in 35 countries prove the experience and expertise of Turck Vilant Systems.

Turck builds additional production facility in Poland

Turck Automation Technology (TAT), based in Lublin, Poland, aims to better meet the requirements of European customers and shorten supply routes. Turck is optimizing its global supply chain structure with a new production facility in Europe. The additional production facility in Lublin in Eastern Poland, will enable the automation specialists to meet the requirements of regional markets faster and more efficiently and reduce any inefficient logistics routes. Production in Lublin will thus include connectivity solutions for the European market, which have so far been manufactured in China or the USA and transported by ship to Europe.

Turck Presents Extended RFID Product Portfolio

Linux Expansion for RFID-UHF Readers Turck is presenting a Linux variant of its versatile Q300 RFID-UHF reader. The operating system particularly offers benefits for system integrators who can carry out extensive programming on the read/write head – for example, for the decentralized preprocessing of data or for connecting to higher-level goods management systems.

Turck Expects a Turnover of Around 640 Million Euros

Automation specialist predicts a consolidated turnover for 2019 slightly below the previous year In spite of the difficult economic climate in its core markets of machine building and the automobile industry, Turck expects a consolidated total turnover of 640 million euros that is virtually the same as that of the previous year. Compared to the 660 million euros of 2018, this represents a slight decrease of around three percent.
