Brad Williams Explains How Operational Failures are Prevented with IoT Sensors!
Production is running as planned – but suddenly signs of wear and tear make themselves apparent: the motor of a conveyor belt fails and production comes to a standstill. How can such a scenario be effectively prevented? Brad Williams, Global Sales Director, Industrial IoT Services, HID Global has the answers: In the Think WIOT Day Livestream "Industrial IoT & Wireless IoT Technologies" on November 16th, viewers will learn how to ensure high plant availability and prevent breakdowns.
The Think WIOT Day "Industrial IoT & Wireless IoT Technologies" livestream starts at at 10:00 CET - register now and learn more!
Production Optimization with Sensors, Analytics and Machine Learning
The lecture "Reducing Invisible Waste & Unplanned Asset Downtime with Wireless IoT Sensors" is all about the use of IoT sensors for condition monitoring. Production machines and equipment are retrofitted with sensors. Measured values such as vibration and temperature are obtained.
Based on the collected data, the plant condition is monitored in real time. Machine learning is used to automatically detect as soon as the measured values deviate from normal values. An alarm calls maintenance personnel to action. Additionally, predictive maintenance is enabled.
Brad Williams will present various case studies for the use of sensors – register for the livestream, participate and learn more!
