Textile Management with RFID Tags and Smart Laundry Cabinets

Simple laundry management takes place with the teXtag® textile management solution: Laundry and workwear is equipped with water- and heat-resistant RFID tags and stored in a dispensing cabinet. Access to the cabinet is granted by means of an RFID employee badge. Laundry removal takes only a few seconds and is registered in the control software. For return, the garment is placed in a return cabinet and automatically registered via RFID. The automated linen issue is available both as an issue cabinet system or as a texRoom room solution.

amanTag® System Ensures Patient and Personnel Protection

The amanTag® patient and personal protection system consists of semi-active transponders and UHF locator devices. Persons carry the transponder with them, which is captured by RFID readers. These can be used to grant access to certain parts of the building as well as to locate people in buildings. The amanTag® system is available with different transponder variants. Transponders with a special push button provide additional protection, as an alarm can be triggered to security personnel at the push of a button.

Access Control in Healthcare

Further protection of patients and medical staff is ensured by the proxEntry® and doorLoxx® access control solutions. The installation of digital door cylinders, fittings, locks, and control modules on doors creates the basis for converting from mechanical access control systems. Access to secured areas is only granted with a valid ID, such as an RFID-enabled employee badge. Access authorizations are managed in the Commander Connect software.

Control of All Solutions with One Software

Access control, laundry and personnel protection are managed using the Commander Connect software. This software bundles extensive rights assignment functions, reports and logs. In addition, the deisterCockpit add-on module is available for extended teXtag® reporting and analysis functions.
