Founded in 2015, Dongguan OSRFID Technology Co., Ltd., OSRFID for short, specializes in the antenna design, label production and consultation. From its headquarters in Dongguan, the megacity on the Pearl River Delta in China's Guangdong Province, the company has 120 employees and serves customers in Southeast Asia, Europe and America. Production Capacities Expanded in 2022
OSRFID is one of the largest RFID producers on the Pearl River Delta and has a production capacity of one billion inlays per year. Bonding Machines and Converting Machines as well as Voyantic Tagformance and Tagsurance test equipment for RFID tag development and production are located on the 6,300m² company premises.
The production capacities have been expanded again in 2022 in order to open up new application areas, says Vincent Song, General Manager, OSRFID: "With the procurement of the Mühlbauer DDA 40K WF, the production capacity has increased enormously. There are plans to use the new equipment for the production of more environmentally friendly RFID products. With the expansion of RFID applications, OSRFID aims to produce for smart packaging and smart homes, for example."
The company has already produced more than one billion RFID labels.
A Diverse Product Portfolio
OSRFID produces various RFID tags, hang tags, textile tags, sensor tags and other tags customized to specific customer requirements. These are used, for example, for RFID solutions in retail, logistics, automotive, transportation, archives, libraries and healthcare. In these industries, the RFID tags enable digital inventory management and ensure protection against counterfeiting and tampering as well as track and trace functionalities.
